Make your own fertiliser
Comfrey fertiliser - If you make your own fertiliser using comfrey leaves, you’ll have a steady supply of organic, nutrient-rich feed for free. Yesterday I spent a wonderful day at my allotment. I started by spreading my homemade compost into the tunnel, I then went on to fertilise using my homemade Comfrey fertiliser. Which I have had brewing for months and have been excited to finally put it to good use.
As you can see, I had my comfrey in a big blue barrel. I began by siphoning the liquid from the blue barrel into buckets and watering cans. Which then went all over the tunnel. The final well rotted leaves were then used as a mulch! Job well done..
